"Professional crew, but the flight was nothing special"
The crew on my spirit flight was professional and polite, and everything like boarding and the safety instructions was handled without any problems. One flight attendant was actually helpful when another passenger needed a hand with their bags, which I appreciated. That said, the whole experience still felt a bit rushed and not especially warm or friendly. Nothing went wrong, but nothing really impressed me either. Personally, I’d call it a very average flight.

"Boarding was actually smooth"
Boarding went better than I thought it would. The line moved fast, and the gate staff did a decent job keeping things organized. I was kind of impressed at first. Then there was a bit of confusion with the boarding groups, which was annoying and made it feel messier than it needed to be. But overall, it wasn’t bad at all.

I checked in quickly this morning, and thankfully there weren’t any strange issues for once. that shouldn’t feel like a pleasant surprise, but I’ll take it.

"Carry-on rules were clear, surprisingly no tricks"
I flew with spirit and went in a little suspicious because you hear all these stories about the carry-on rules, like there’s some secret airline fee trap waiting to spring on you at the gate. But I checked the website ahead of time, and it actually laid out clearly what was free and what you had to pay extra for.
I paid for my carry-on early just to stay one step ahead of the system, and it worked out fine. At the airport, they barely looked at it, just a quick check, and my bag fit with no drama. I was fully prepared for some last-minute “gotcha” fee, but nope, no surprises for me.

Lowkey, the seat was comfier than I expected for my flight. It’s not like there was tons of room or anything, but I didn’t feel all stiff and messed up when we landed. For spirit, i was kinda surprised in a good way.

I got text and email updates quickly, which was nice. They kept me in the loop the whole time, so I wasn’t really stressing about my flight changes.

Had to reach out to Spirit about a booking problem. Not fun. The chat was slow. Really slow. Kept getting basic answers that didn’t help much. Felt like I was just going in circles. They finally replied for real, but it still wasn’t very useful. Frustrating, honestly...

The flight left right on time, so that was a good start. there isn’t a ton to say, everything just went smoothly, no weird delays or issues. Boarding was fine, we took off when we were supposed to, and yeah, no problems on my end

"The plane was cleaner than I expected for..."
The plane was cleaner than I expected for a budget flight... the seats looked like they’d been wiped down, and the tray table wasn’t gross, which I appreciated. The bathroom could’ve been a little better, but overall it was totally fine for the price.

I know people like to complain about baggage fees, but these were reasonable. I checked the prices ahead of time and didn’t feel like I was getting ripped off. For what it was, the bags were cheap overall.

"Pretty easy booking and I’m happy with how it went"
I booked a flight on spirit.com it was a smooth experience overall. The site was simple enough to figure out, and I was able to compare prices and flight times without much hassle. Adding bags was probably the only part that felt a little annoying since the fees show up separately, but I expected that with Spirit. My payment went through without any issues, and the confirmation email came in right away. It wasn’t perfect, but everything worked out fine and I’m satisfied with the booking process.

"Amenities were kind of just okay"
The flight itself was fine, but there wasn’t really much included with it. The seats felt tight, and no free snacks or drinks was a little meh, but I guess not surprising. The wifi did work okay though, so that was good enough. Overall, it was kind of exactly what I expected with spirit, if that makes sense.

"Cheap flight that did the job"
I knew exactly what I was paying for, and it ended up being totally fine. The ticket was cheap, check-in was simple, and I only brought a backpack, so I didn’t get hit with extra bag fees or anything like that. It wasn’t fancy, no big comfy seat, no free snacks, no extra legroom, no little perks, but I didn’t really expect any of that. I just needed a basic flight, like get on the plane, put my bag under the seat, sit down, fly there, and land on time. That’s pretty much what happened, so for the price, I was happy.

i’ve had a good experience with free spirit for my trips. the points seem to add up faster than i thought they would, and actually using them was easy. it’s nothing super fancy, but it does what i need and works well for me.

I had to rebook my flight on spirit.com, it was more of a headache than I thought it would be. The site kept kicking me back to earlier steps, and some of the fees didn’t really show up until later, which was annoying.
I did eventually get everything changed, but it took way longer than it should have. I tried reaching out to customer support too, but they weren’t much help, so the whole thing just felt...

"Refund came at the worst possible time"
I had to deal with a refund the timing could not have been worse. It took way longer than I expected, and I kept checking for updates because I really needed that money back sooner. The whole process just felt dragged out and frustrating.

"The app got me through my trip just fine"
I used the spirit app on my trip to check in and keep my boarding pass handy, it worked well for me. I was half expecting some random glitch or to get logged out at the worst possible moment, but that never happened. The only hiccup was one flight update that came in a little later than I would’ve liked, but it wasn’t a huge deal. Overall, it was simple, reliable, and got the job done. I’d give it 4 stars since it could feel a little smoother, but it definitely did what I needed.
